A pair of antique side plates in a white glaze with beautiful embossed detailing. Made in England by Alfred Meakin, these plates could be used for dining, added to a shelf or arranged on a wall for decorative display. The tradition of hanging plates dates back centuries. It offers a simple and distinctive way to infuse colour and texture into any space and enjoy beautiful old pieces which are often tucked away out of sight.

Condition: Signs of age and use with light crazing and a tiny chip to one plate.

Dimensions: Width 20 cm.

Care: We recommend washing by hand for best care. For wall display we suggest using either a wire plate hanger or an adhesive disk plate sticker. Both options come in a range of sizes and are widely available.
